Follow signs for Shibuya Scramble Square, not for the Hachiko exit
Hachiko is the famous exit and the one people default to, but it puts you on the crossing rather than in the building. Scramble Square is directly connected to the station and signposted.

Go to the 14th floor
The Shibuya Sky entrance is on level 14, not at street level. Take the lifts inside Shibuya Scramble Square. This is the point people miss, because the attraction is often described as being at the top of the building.

Leave large luggage before you go up
Bags and loose items go into lockers on level 46 before the rooftop. Larger luggage will not fit and needs the lockers near Shibuya Station instead, so deal with it before you start.

Tips
- Arrive fifteen to twenty minutes before your timed slot. The entrance is on level 14 and the ascent through SKY GATE takes time.
- The station has many exits across several levels; follow building signage for Shibuya Scramble Square rather than street directions.
- Tripods and selfie sticks are not permitted on the observation level, so there is no point carrying them.
